A leading Tier One construction contractor is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to support a high‑profile programme of social and affordable housing new‑build schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who can step into a fast‑paced environment, take ownership of live bids, and drive high‑quality submissions from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end bid management across multiple social/affordable housing new‑build opportunities.
- Coordinate inputs from estimators, planners, design, delivery, and commercial teams.
- Develop compelling, compliant bid responses aligned to client requirements and scoring criteria.
- Manage bid programmes, deadlines, governance, and internal reviews.
- Support storyboarding and win‑theme development to strengthen competitive positioning.
Experience Required
- Proven Bid Manager experience within Tier One or major main contracting.
- Strong background in social/affordable housing – specifically new‑build construction.
- Ability to hit the ground running on live bids with minimal onboarding.
- Excellent writing, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
