A major Tier One construction contractor is looking for an experienced Bid Writer to support a busy pipeline of social and affordable housing new‑build schemes. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly embed themselves into a live bid environment and produce high‑quality, compliant, and compelling written content from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing high‑quality written responses that clearly address client requirements and scoring criteria.
- Translating technical input from design, delivery, commercial, and planning teams into clear, persuasive narrative.
- Supporting storyboarding and win‑theme development to strengthen the overall submission.
- Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all written content.
- Working closely with the Bid Manager to meet deadlines and maintain bid governance.
What You’ll Need
- Proven Bid Writing experience within Tier One or major main contracting.
- Strong background in social/affordable housing – specifically new‑build construction.
- Ability to produce polished content quickly with minimal direction.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
