As a Senior Bid Manager in the energy sector, you’ll take the lead on delivering high‑quality tenders that genuinely reflect what clients need and what the business wants to achieve. You’ll bring together the right people, guide the bid team through every stage of the process, and keep everyone aligned—from early strategy and win themes to the final submission and client presentations. A big part of the role is building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, while also mentoring junior team members and helping them grow their confidence and capability in bid management.
You’ll be hands‑on throughout the full tender lifecycle: shaping early strategy, coordinating designers and partners, managing inputs from technical specialists, and making sure risks, opportunities, and value‑engineering ideas are properly explored. You’ll lead interviews, prepare presentations, and stay close to clients after submission to support negotiations and handovers. Beyond individual bids, you’ll play a key role in improving how the business approaches tendering—bringing in lessons learned, strengthening data and processes, and representing the company at industry events to help build long‑term relationships across the energy sector.
